Seem to work better for Mazda than it worked for Audi.

The cousin that nobody wants to invite at the party, because it will get drunk and annoy everyone.

Mazda is making some amazing looking cars. Too bad all you can get is 184hp. Sigh. Guess I'll wait for the new MS3

Yeah that is my criticism as well. C'mon Mazda you have the chassis and suspension tuning down, the hard work is done. Just slap a few turbos on...Zoom Zoom remember?

Audi is selling every car they can make, why do you say it didn't work for them?

That isn't attributed solely to design though. And having everything look basically the same kind of helped them.

Well, they sell for several aspects, but expressive styling, and distinctive bits of design that differentiate models inside the same lineup, are not amongst them.

Too bad the compression is too high for turbos in those newfangled skyactiv systems, maybe they can have both because that 2.3 disi turbo is a gem.

The engine is amazing no doubt - the highest compression in a gasoline passenger car and stock 4-2-1 headers is very cool, but I'd like to see a punched-out version of the 2.5L making more power.

Do you refer to the 2.2 Diesel? 'Cause that's pretty fast in the 3. :D

No I'm referring to the 2.5L they put in the 6 and 3. The diesel will be for sale later this year (if it's not already) but I prefer my engines sip gasoline rather than truck fuel :)

Eh, I also prefer gasoline ... but I can dig a Diesel lump in a hatchback; it's what I DD, after all.

God, that 6 is so beautiful. It's truly gorgeous. It's even more striking in person. Too bad the interior is just OK. But I would definitely live with it for that car. All it needs is more power.

Agreed. I saw a 6 wagon with the skyD the other day. Much want ensued.

I dont know how many of you have driven the new lineup yet but the 3 and 6 are not that slow in fact its fairly quick with the 2.5 in the 3. new interiors are a big step up as well.
